1. Acceptance of the Terms
By accessing and using the Askedly platform (https://respondeae.com.br), you agree to these Terms of Use.
2. Description of the Service
Askedly is a platform where users can ask other people paid questions and receive answers. Questions must cost at least R$2.00, paid by PIX, and the suggested amounts are R$2, R$5, R$10, R$20, R$50 or any other whole amount chosen by the user. When a question is answered properly, the author of the answer receives the amount paid for the question, minus the fees described in section 4 - Payments.
3. Daily Usage Limits
Each user can ask up to 10 public questions and 1 anonymous question per day. This limit exists to prevent abuse and spam and to keep the platform a healthy environment. As the use of the platform evolves over time, these limits may be raised or lowered if necessary.
4. Payments
A fee is charged on every question asked so that we can maintain and improve the platform's services. The fee depends on the price of the question:
- 50% when the question costs R$5 or less.
- 30% when the question costs more than R$5.
- Example 1: João paid R$5 to ask Ana a question. The fee on this amount is 50%, that is, R$2.50. If Ana answers the question properly, she receives R$2.50.
- Example 2: Pedro paid R$10 to ask Maria a question. The fee on this amount is 30%, that is, R$3. If Maria answers the question properly, she receives R$7.
5. Payment Methods and Credits
Questions can be paid by PIX, in Brazilian reais (BRL), or with credits bought by card through Stripe, in US dollars (USD). When a question paid with credits is answered, the amount is paid out to the recipient's Stripe account, with the same platform fee described in section 4. If a question paid with credits is declined, expires or is reported, the full amount of credits is returned to the person who asked it. The withdrawal and refund rules in section 10 apply to questions paid by PIX.
6. Privacy and My Account
Users can configure their profile to show or hide their answers publicly, show or hide the likes and dislikes on their answers, ask private questions and restrict their profile to followers only, among other preferences that help protect their privacy.
7. Question Validity
Each question sent has its own validity period of 7 calendar days to be answered. After that period, the question is considered expired and can no longer be answered. The amount paid for the question is automatically returned to the payer's account.
8. Rules of Conduct and Prohibited Content
You may not post or send content that is illegal, offensive, defamatory or obscene, that infringes copyright, or that constitutes spam or harassment. Users are responsible for all the content they post and for using the platform appropriately. We reserve the right to remove any inappropriate or offensive question or answer and to ban users who break these rules.
9. Reports and Penalties
Every question and answer can be reported, both by the person who received the question and by the person who received the answer. After a considerable number of reports in a day, week or month, the author of the question or answer may be penalized.
Penalties are applied as follows:
- 1st offense: account access blocked for 30 days
- 2nd offense: account access blocked for 180 days
- 3rd offense: permanent deletion of the account
10. Withdrawals and Refunds
Withdrawals: withdrawal payments are processed exclusively via PIX and sent to the PIX key configured in your account. You need a balance of at least R$100 to request a withdrawal on the platform.
Refunds: when a question you paid for is declined or expires, the amount is added to your account balance, and you can also withdraw it once the balance reaches R$100. This money cannot be used to ask new questions at this time, because each paid question is tied to a specific PIX payment.
11. Limitation of Liability
Askedly is not liable for direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages related to the use of the platform. The questions and answers posted by users are the sole responsibility of whoever posts them. We count on the community's cooperation to keep the environment healthy and productive.
12. Inactive Accounts
Accounts that go more than 730 consecutive days (2 years) without being accessed (the user did not sign in to their account during that period) are considered inactive and deleted from the platform. Two warning emails are sent, the first 7 days before and the second 48 hours before the possible deletion of the account, so that the user is aware.
13. Changes to the Terms
These terms may be changed at any time. We recommend that users review this page periodically. Changes take effect immediately after publication.
